About Us
Community and Youth
Anderson and Rosemary are committed to the youth of the community, training numerous apprentices over the life of the business. At any given time there will be a couple of apprentices at work in the team. The company was recognised for its commitment to the youth of the area being nominated as a finalist in the Group Training Australia WA Employer of the Year awards 2008.
All of the direct employees of the company have been trained by the company so understandably the team was pretty excited when in 2009 Todd Hammond, a third year apprentice, was awarded the Western Australian Regional Apprentice of the Year by Master Builders Association of WA. All company apprentices are trained in a wide range of skills in addition to their basic carpentry trade.
The company draws on a select pool of subcontractors for skills outside of employees' fields. All except one subcontractor are local residents.
Anderson & Rosemary are also committed to the community through their involvement in several community organisations.
