The Directors
Anderson Dufty
Born in Narrogin in 1957 Anderson grew up as a farmer's son around Darkan & Mt Barker WA. After Matriculating in 1974 he went shearing, farming and working as a trade's assistant on building projects.
A trip around much of Australia and across USA gave an appreciation of the benefits of living in the Great Southern of West Australia. In 1990 a farm accident caused it all to stop. After a year of recuperation Anderson began a carpentry apprenticeship and the studies required for registration as a builder in WA. Four years later he went out solo as a subcontractor and completed the required study course personally obtaining registration as a builder.
Anderson and Rosemary then established A & R Nominees Pty Ltd trading as Anderson Dufty Builder and the company was registered as a builder in 2001. Anderson provides the contact between the client and the project. Clients' concerns are personally attended to. There are always several ways to see an issue and Anderson seeks to find the best outcome for any situation that may arise.
When not working on building projects Anderson is probably in his shed messing about with his guitars, maybe playing or more likely building one.
Rosemary Dufty
Born in Fremantle (not so long ago) Rosemary grew up in the Perth area. The daughter of an engineer and a school teacher, Rosemary spent a year after high school as an accounts clerk and office assistant for a major Perth electrical contractor before moving to the medical field qualifying in 1984 as a Registered Nurse. Soon after that she married Anderson and began another career as a farmer's wife. A gracious and efficient woman, Rosemary handles the accounts for the business and generally does all that stuff no-one sees. She is without a doubt Anderson's better half.
Rosemary's creative outlet is her garden and her love of needlecraft.
